streetbike help!

well guys im looking to get a streetgike, and i've found one for $1500, but it doesnt have a title. the guy says i can get it for $70 from some place, is this true? its kkawasaki 900

I don't know about Louisiana. But in Minnesota i dont think you can do that? DMV would have some problem with no title. You can try and get by with a bill of sale.

you can file for a lost title but it will be more than $70 for sure

i wouldnt buy a streetbike if it didnt have some sort of a title. Even a salvage title is better than no title. If there's not title it more than likely means there's something screwy with the bike.

if i were you i'd tell him to go file for the lost title himself and you would get back to him after he got it if your that interested in it. that way you dont get in trouble for having a possibly stolen bike.

that's what i would do. let him get all that straightened out, and if he doesn't want to, then there very well might be something up with the bike. if the bike is stolen, you dont want to end up having it.
