hrc or hotcam 3

has anyone ran the 04/05 hrc cam in an 06/07 450r? how does it compare to the stage 3 hot cam? i want the stage 3 but have a brand new 04/05 hrc cam. i didnt want to mess around with trying it so that is why i am asking.

What kind of riding do u do?
HC3 is meant for big bore engines or extremely high comp.
And mostly only used in TT racing.

i do all types of riding. i have a sparks cam in it right but i am getting ready to put a +3 stroker crank and will have about 14 to 1 compression. i just want to try something different and i know the hrc is a mid to top end cam in the 04/05 (dont know about 06/07 but i assume the same) and so is the stage 3. i didnt know how they compared to each other.

The '06 HRC cam has more low-mid rush to it. The stage 3 HC has longer duration than the HRC and is meant to aid the compression.
