450R with Burnt Valves

I am looking at a 05 450R that has burnt valves. They are saying that want $800 to fix this. It sounds kinda high. What is involved in fixing this. I am technically inclined but have not done a 450r before.

I say for that price send the head out for a port job and better valves for a little more money and youll get a boat load more power!!!

Like gixxer said that price is a rip off, for that u can get port work and all new valves and much more.

Honda valves and valve seals are about $ 150, probably $100 to cut the valve seats, head gasket,coolant,oil and filter,valve shims 90$, ~4 hours labor $300

AM i misisng anything? thats $640

I put kibblewhite valves & spring kit, seals from C&D Racing 345.00 shipped 100.00 to cut the seats bead blast the head some gaskets shim kit 90.00. i did all the R&R work
