How do you post pictures???

I have tried using the image button and it doesnt load on the post and i tried saving the pictures to the computer and then attaching them but i wont work. How do you guys post your pics?

Hmmmm.... make sure it's a jpg file (or any of these: gif jpg png txt zip bmp jpeg). Also, make sure it's not too big.

OK, it looks like if you post a bitmap file you have to click the link but if it's a jpeg file it will show up in the thread.

Try saving your pics as .jpg instead of .bmp

Ok that sound logical but how do i save them as jpg instead of the bmp?

It depends on the software you are using but after you select "save as" on the file menu you should be able to change the file type as shown in the example below (save as type field)

ok i got it figured out i was saving them to my pictures and when i did it automatically made them bitmap and i went and made a new folder so when i save them now they are jpg. Thanks for the help.

I would also recommend www.irfanview.com and download the program there. Its very helpful if you mess with pictures or images at all. You can very quickly resize and save as pictures under many different extensions. Plus its very easy to use. :)
