Hey, I have a 2001 Honda 440ex with a LRD Full Exhaust..

The carb i have now is junk, Its a Edlebrock Quicksilver II carb., it sat with fuel in it for 2 years and is just nasty. I cleaned it up and i think i i lost a few parts from it when i blew it off with air, and besides the accelerator pump is broken on it to.

So I either want to get a stock 400ex carb and jet it? or I see people have been putting a trx405r carb on theirs?

I want to find a good deal on ebay.

So.. with that being said, is there a chart or soming for jetting a 440ex with different types of exhaust?

What do you have your 440ex jetted at with the stock carb?

How do them trx450r carbs work?

What one is more worth to get.

Ben

you will be more than happy with your decision if you pick up a 450r carb, especially being that you have a 440. it made a very significant difference in throttle response and a little bit on hp on my 416. it isnt even jetted perfectly yet :eek2:
