how often does your fan run?

i just bought an 05 and ive never seen the fan run. i've only ridden it in 70-80 degree weather. ive ridden it pretty hard, gotten it pretty hot, and i havent heard it or seen it run. my buddy has a z400 and that thing runs all the time. the temp light isnt coming on so its not overheating.

On a stock quad it doesn't run much.

On my 05, the fan seems to run at a lower rpm than on other bikes. I only have 1 indicator light on my bike (red), and I believe its a oil pressure indicator. Dont worry , the fan runs very little, and you cant hear it.

My fan never runs It turned on like twice this year and I ride like everyday mud,rain,snow or hot weather and i know its not only my 450 beacuse my brother and cuzin have one and theirs newer turns on eaither

Ya if u keep moving the fan will rarely come on.

Even when it does come on, it will look like its hardly spinning.

Every z400 I've seen has the fan running almost all the time and its freaking loud lol.

You can always test the by grounding the fan wire to the frame
