click! and wont start

ok well i went to fire my quad up today and it made a decent click noise and from the battery area, it wont even turn over. I did check my battery and it works great. not sure whats down there that would click and not turn over. Oh btw i checked the fuse and it is still good(i replaced the 15 with a 20 one time, it was the only extra fuse i had) would that ruin something if its not the right size.

ok i went out and i think it is the starter celinoide off and put it back on and then it turned over and fired up, not sure what happened

maybe the wires are corroded? or its starting to go?

It probally just has a "dead spot". My old chevy would do this. You could rock it back and forth in gear or tap on it. That should do the trick if it dies on the trail. Adam
