i pulled my carb down today and found that the carb we running has a main jet size of 172 and my brothers bike has a main of 195 culd this be the reason why the bike keeps blowing upi talked to someone today and they said that is was running to lean or it was staying cool on the carb side and runing hot on the exhaust side of the piston does this make any sense at all im running a 32.1 oil mixture and they told me to go to 40.1 mixture and go bigger on my main jet please help

172 is smaller than I've ever run on a 38 or 39mm carb. I run a 178 in the summer (plus 70 degrees), 185 in the winter time. Yes, run good oil at 40-50:1

Yea, start with a 180-185, then work down if you need to.

Check your plug.

A hotter bike is leaner

32:1 means your getting less fuel in there than 40:1. But if your blowing them up maybe you need more oil. Unless its running to hot and siezing. Talk to your builder and see wut he sais its from.

the first piston i blew sezed up about half way up the cylender and the second one just broke a ring because it got caught in the exhaust port hole and broke i dont really know if my water pump is working but im going to go buy another one and put one in it but im going to get it right but for a fack im going to put a diferent jet in it for sure and go up on my oil ratio

How can anyone give you a serious answer when you have no specs of either bike in question
