this will be a thread will be showing the progress of the winter rebuild of my 2006 250ex.
I will be showing the steps of polishing aluminum and cleaning up the frame, engine, and the plastics

wel i knocked my camera off the bench yesterday and broke so i have to get them off the sd..

im just takin the plastics off and cleaning them up, polishing the wheels, cleaning the tires, and wiping down the frame

i do that and more after every ride to 2 bikes...maybe next time i will take pics of that

why dont u paint ur frame or add some parts like diffrent plastics make it a real winter project and it doesnt have to be done in a month u can make it a sticky and take *** long as u want

That is not a rebuild thats maintenance. I try to do that after every few rides. A rebuild consists of adding parts or fixing worn/broken parts.

im not buying any parts im just trying to clean it up nice cause im probly selling it in spring.. why would you polish everything and take off all the plastics after 2 rides? :huh

a pressure washer does just fine for me after riding

Why would they sticky a thread about somebody cleaning there quad. haha but i want to see some before and afters still.

i never stated i washed and polished my quad after every 2 rides i said few. And I power wash it, scrub it(sometimes with a toothbrush, and then polish everything. i was just saying its stupid for saying to make it a sticky or calling it a winter rebuild. More like a winter cleaning.
