GT Thunder clutch kit

Does anyone know if a hinson clutch basket will work with the GT Thunder clutch kit? Will I need to modify anything to make this setup work? THanks

I can help a little...

I know that GT Thunder modifies the inner pressure plate. They actually machine the clutch face on the inner to make room for the extra plate.

I'm unsure about the basket, but I'll bet it would work.

Have you looked on the hinson site? I'm pretty sure it says somewhere that it'll work with the 8 plate setup as well as the stock. Can't remember though I thought I saw it last time I was wasting time looking at some parts.

the hinson basket will work with the gt 8 disc kit. i have run one in my 416 for 2 years. that kit works really well clutch hooks alot better
