I am selling my 250r that I just finished putting together. All seals and bearings have been replaced with factory Honda parts. I have about 20 minutes on this thing since assembled. I am looking for a 450 now instead just to play around on.
Here are the specifications:
Frame/ suspension:
- PRP DDT No-Link frame powdercoated gloss black a year or two ago
- PEP No-Link rear shock
- Lone Star +1.5 swingarm coated with wrinkle black
- Magnum dual row bearing carrier
- RPM Dominator +4 overall axle
- RPM anti-fade lock nut with Galfer wave rotor
- Stock rear brake set up with stainless steel brake line, IMS Roll pedal, Lone
Star Racing emergency block off plate
- Roll Design +3 LOBO II long travel a-arms, lowers wrinkle black with chrome
uppers, and stainless steel tie rods
- Custom Axis triple rate front shocks
- 400EX front brake calipers, rotors, hubs (powdercoated gloss black), and master
cylinder with stainless steel lines
- All 4 Hipers with red rings and rears have integrated hubs
- Comes with brand new never been used stock 250R rear hubs if want to put other
wheels on
-ITP Holeshots on front with Holeshot MXR4's on rear all with 3/4 tread left
- Stock length Houser powdercoated red anti-vibe steering stem with Pro Taper
handlebars
- 400EX thumb throttle housing powdercoated gloss black
- Pro Design kill switch

Appearance:
- Brand new full fendered red Full Bore red plastic with CEET gripper seat and
- OMF seat latch
- AC pro peg nerf bars wrinkle black with black nets
- AC rear grab bar
- IMS Roll front bumper

Engine:
- Stock 250R center cases and side cases welded and machined to fit 79mm stroker
hot rods crank, 81mm wiseco piston, FL400R Pilot cylinder with mid range port
job, Pro Design cool head, 39mm Keihin carb, Hinson clutch basket, Hinson
adjustable timing plate. This makes it roughly 406cc I think. All machining
done by Trinity
- Trinity big bore expansion pipe with LRD big bore silencer
- Certified Honda mechanic just rebuilt the bottom end with new bearings, seals
and gaskets
- AFCO high flow aluminum radiator with swivel fittings
- The reason for the rebuild was due to the fact that USPS dropped the motor and
cracked the center case, so he tore it apart, got it professionally welded, and
freshened everything up
- CFM aluminum air box with K&N filter
- Also have clamp on UNI filter because I am still getting the right hose to fit
around the rear shock to mount the air box
- Also have standard length Lone Star No-Link swingarm that needs welded. I sand blasted it, and ground a groove in the cracks for welding.
I have tried describing all parts to the best of my knowledge, but may of missed a few things. Feel free to ask any questions.
I am also including my spare set of stock white plastic with Duncan Racing graphics kit, a set of ITP front and rear wheels that are in fair shape. There is also a set of Kenda Knarley 18" rears with 50% tread left, a set of front and rear MX Holeshot's with 40% in the rear, and around 15% on the fronts, and a set of 70% cut 18" Turf Tamers. There is also a +0+2 Durablue axle with a RAD locknut included as well. It needs 1 nut, a 1/4" spacer, and the sprocket hub has three hairline cracks where the bolts go through.

I only have like 20 minutes on this motor, so I can't really say much. I bought it off of a member on here (pro6 I think) and he said it was very reliable for him and he was tt racing it. All he had to do was change the oil and re-ring it every so often.

how often did he say you have to re-ring it? do you have a link to the motor? and what was it made for is it stritctly a racing engine? would you be intrested in a 05 modded yfz?

You can message him on here and ask him about it. He is really good to talk to. I am pretty sure he raced it and played around on the dunes as well. I will e-mail him as well. What all is done to the YFZ? Can you send pics to mh167002@ohio.edu
