Anytime I had leftover race gas, I'd put it in my truck/car. I put some in my riding lawnmower a few times, it ran great! BTW, it won't last over the winter, I've never stored it more than a few weeks.

Same here! I do not store gas for more than 2 weeks. I usually will dump it in my truck or keep it as solvent to clean oil off something.

Just be aware that any fuel labeled "110" is most likely leaded. And lead does not get along with O2 sensors and catalytic converters. I doubt a few gallons diluted into a fullish car/truck tank will harm anything if you only do it every once in a while. But I wouldn't dump gallon after gallon of leaded fuel into a modern car/truck without expected premature O2 and cat converter failure.

My local municipality will accept waste gasoline by appointment for no charge. Try calling your municipal waste service and see what they offer for hazmat disposal.

Yeah all my race gas I run is leaded I only mix it in my truck with a full tank to dilute it. I have a 30 gallon tank and at most I put 1 gallons in there with a fresh full tank. Usually the race gas I put in there is like a half gallon left over so it's very diluted. I look at it as some good octane booster!

So if you have a 30 gal drum with race gas, you would throw it out after a couple months? Or atleast put it to good use in the chainsaw?
