View Full Version : Pro Armor Sport Series Nerf Question

I have a set of pro armor sport series on my 450R and my buddy wants to get the same ones for his 400 EX.

The sport series that Pro Armor shows on their website don't look like mine (they don't sweep in and mount to the rear a-arm frame mount).

I called pro armor and didn't get much help.

Question is...does anyone have the Pro Armor Sport Series nerfs mounted? Part number H011088.

i have them.. rear a arm????? they mount to the frame between the frame and pegs

I have the Pro Armors with the built in heel guards which attach to the lower a-arm mount like you described. I know they aren't the sport series, but maybe your friend should take a look at them.

I like mine a lot, they are strong, and they look great on the quad.

i have the sport series and they hook up to your a-arm mount. I think the new ones are up to you motor mount. older ones are the a-arms which i love.

You wouldn't happen to have the part number from Pro-Armor on those would you?

To the guys who have them that mount to the frame...they don't use a u-bolt do they?

I have a set that mount to my lower a-arm...loved them until I bent my right side towards my rear tire and bent it down...kinda caused it to be weak so I guess I'll get some new pro-pegs maybe AC.

I have these nerf bars by pro-armor on my 2004 400ex Price: Part Number: H011030
They do mount to the back of the lower a-arms. They even include the new bolt for the a-arm. They are great, Very happy.
The picture on the web site is not the way they look, if you want me to send a picture of my nerfs w/heel guards just ask.

Sure! If you could post some pictures that would be great!

I would like to know if the nerfs would fit with IMS pegs, if your pics are detailed enough, I can figure it out.
