Whos going saturday? I'm going to go with a friend of mine if the weather permits. It will be the first time at a track for me.

Thats my "local" track. Ill hopefully be there with my YFZ. I just put a new crank and hi-comp piston in, all I need to do is the timing and wait for a engine/swingarm bolt from Yamaha.
#411 blue YFZ with elkas and such
and if thats not running #411 white stock 450er

EDIT, thats right, you ride bikes. You'll be on the big track. lucky.

They usually have a good track setup with a decent variety in jumps (I race bikes so I'm talking about the big track). I haven't been to an open practice there since early last year though so I'm not sure what it will be like. I remember a couple years back they would be so busy on wednesday open practices that there would be a steady line of traffic around the track. If its crowded just be careful and hold your line.

also, nofearrider, how big of a gap is that double that you hit when you come down the hill after the gates?

that double is somewhere around 60 feet and real fun

i havent gotten the balls to hit it yet, i hit the other big one, i-95 or whatever. i think saturday if its open i may hit it. ive hitten every other jump BUT that one..

What do you guys mean by big track? I have never been to a track before like I said. Are riders "hard" on new riders? I'll be on my Yz, heres a picture of it. If ya'll see me come up and say hey.

i race there and it took me a little while to hit it but once you do it its easy

they have 2 tracks there. the small "quad track" and the big "bike" track. they let the quads on the big track after like 4 or 5 usually.

i really dont know....... if they were to cancel the race on sunday then i think they would make it the saturday before the new race date...... im just guessing here though

its pretty easy, it just looks intimidating. I usually hit in 4th gear, not pinned, just a little gas since its down hill. just follow someone off of it.

i hope it doesnt rain, i just got my engine back together tonight and if i cant ride im gonna cry:(

me too man i finally talked my mom into comming and that is nearly impossible.

that double is really easy and is pretty forgiving. i cased it with a broken ankle at the last race and it didnt hurt too bad and my shocks are blown. you got nothin to worry about.

i hit the jump before i95 and almost flipped:eek2: twice! im a disgrace :o funny!:cool:
