View Full Version : just curious how much will a newly built 426ex motor bring?

the mods....hot rods HD crank,port polish,HC stg 1,HD CRF timming chain,Kibblewhite valves ,kibblewhite valve springs with titanium retaniers,11:1 wiesco piston,all new seals internal and external,drit digger clutch,LA sleeve installed, new timmimg chain tensioner,would come with starter,edelbrock carb,intake boot,power shifter,their is more but just curious on how much to expect if i were to sell the motor.oh and i forgot to mention its only on the thrid oil change since the rebuild so id say its got about a total of 17 hrs on it. engine cases are not cracked any were ..only normal wear on the sides were your boots rub.shoot me some prices... i have about $1200 into just the engine but i know i will never get that back but what can i expect. i maybe willing to trade the whole wheeler for a 4x4 polaris sportsman of equal value.

$800 lol i wouldn't even think of letting it go for that.thats just crazy.....like i said it would come with the starter ,Edelbrock carb intake boot ect....you see them on eBay for about $1100 and that's usually with out the carb the starter and their stock.

oh with the carb and such, add say 300, really man its what u ask, and if someones willing to pay it, to put it for sale and it sells reasonably easy, 1000-1500, what its probably worth to you and wait a long time for/maybe not sell 1500-2000

modifications are a money pit lol and you rearly ever get 3/4 of it back damm aftermarket companies lol...
