Well most of you wont Know what this is or much less care unless you are a home owner. I had the traps set for three days, and checked them tonight. Woohooo! I hate these lil bugers.

We use to have problems with those all the Time, but we killed some but we have no problems with them now...

Judging by the amount of damage I dont think there was more than one. And that one is of average size for a Mole.

Rippinrider, I wanted to wiegh it on the kitchen scale but the wife wasn't too hot on that idea. lol

O boy. We got a great white hunter among us boys. We should all bow down in praise. You now have one of the most pointless ans small trouphies ever recorded. Do you intend to take this public? maybe national?


You should take it at a taxidermy shop and ask how much it would be to stuff the little guy.

Someone in politics I think...actually it's a small rodent like a rat but it lives underground and it doesn't have any eye's...amazingly though,,for something that lives underground,,their fur is very very soft..

my dog gets them all the time, and most of the time they are alive, so i found an easy way to dispose of them

i ran out of BB's and pelets one day, while hunting them, lmao, so my dog dug one up, it was pretty much dead, so i brought out a nineiron and golfed it to h#ll, talk about a hole in one

It's not the moles I'm worried about, it's the freak'n mice!!! On my last trip to the dunes, I was adjusting my chain, and looked at the airbox drain cap. It was full of grass and other junk. I popped open the airbox, and a F..cking mouse had built a nest in my airbox (must have crawled up the snorkel tube). That sucker was hella pissed at me, and I wasn't so happy with it either, so I grabbed the mouse with some channel locks and did a "compression" test on it. It's amazing how much better your motor runs when there isn't a rodent in your airbox. It didn't damage my K&N filter, but it did eat a bit of my outerwears cover. Needless to say, the garage is well armed for mice now!!!. Now don't go and call out the Humane Society on me.

Funny thing is, I work in a structural materials testing lab, so I did it like any other compression test I would run in the lab. A compression test is completed when the "test specimen" either won't take any more load, or shows permanent deformation. I decided to go with the permanent deformation for my mode of failure.
