I just bought a used Eichner carb and am wondering about jetting the sucker because the guy had it on a 440ex and I'm not bored to a 440 I just have a stage 2 hot cam, full exhaust, K&N, and no lid. Would his settings work on my quad or would I fowl plugs like non other?

Thak you.

did you get any other needles for the carb? the carb is designed for the 440 kit really its a 38mmx38mm round so for it to work on your stock motor i would find out what needle is in it and tell me what it is example..15e,17e,21e etc...but how does it run with the settings were their at now? use a new plug and post a pic of what it looks like after you do a plug chop, i have an Edelbrock carb too and have experience with them i can help you out.

the bore of the carb might be to bug. It might flow to much. I would call Edelbrock and talk to Chris. Chris has always pulled me out of problems with my Edelbrock carbs.

I'm going to bet you should be running the 21e needle

Right now it has a 23E in it and im going to go fire it up and see what the plug looks like. I also thought that a 18, 19, or 20 was needed so im going to call Edelbrock and see. I will post a pic of the plug in a little bit. Thanks guys.

Well it started perfectly needs to be idled down though but other than that it runs. So it fouled the plug just idling there and I had a feeling it was going to be rich. What should I order as far aas needles?
