is it bad?

When i was riding last weekend i met a guy who had a newer stock 400ex with just jets and full exhaust. When i saw him filling i asked what he was using and he said 50/50. half 92 half 110. Is that bad for his bike since its rather stock. Is he noticing any power gains or just blowing his money?

he is not seeing any gains from it, but it is not hurting anything either. it will run cooler and cleaner on race fuel, but on a stock motor there are no gains.
