how long does your rear shock have to be to run that link?

honestly not to sure its made to fit a long travel shock which is normally around 16"

my houser-axis set up uses a 17" shock. I'll see what I can find.

what year swingarm is this supposed to go on??? the links are different ant will not work on either 05 or 06 ... it must be for one or the other...

dude that i bought the link from was using it on an 06, i have an 05 and the link worked fine just never got to use it cause the shock i bought was blown out and i didnt know it til i put the bike together. So with that i firmly believe that the link will fit all years of honda 450r's

Yep baldwin told me it will work with all years. I used it on my 06 for TT and a buddy of mine tried it on his 04 for XC. He was going to buy it from me but he needed an air box lifter kit for it. The main thing baldwin told me is to just get the shock setup for the linkage and it will work great!

also rusty pm xsr_racing28c as he was wanting the link but you had already bought it. He may still be wanting one.
