i didnt get pics of us bending it back and welding some gussets to it , but after we put it back on the bike it had a twist to it so somebody came up with the idea to use to pry bar and try to bend it back closer.http://i159.photobucket.com/albums/t157/pk250r/DSCF2661.jpg

Ours looked the same before we put it in the press and welded a plate to the bottem to re -enforce it. Sucks how easy they bend.

Wish I could have been there to see the fun though. What was the end result? Did it finish the race?

we ended up putting a swing arm from a predator to finish the race

Do you think you would the same amount of fun with one of the new square tubed swingarms?

So far it has yet to bend?

Mr. Fuller has bent a few swingarms, axles and gears, but the square tube swingarm has held up

Help is on the way DRR Nation.....

drr5 it's good to hear you finished. We had to be creative at a race before we got it some what fixed also.

I can't speak for everyone but I hope help is on the way soon.

.
. " STEEL RODS" ? Those are just heavy duty chain adjusters...
I think Cheater motorsports should market those big steel bars and call them "cheater bars" ! Every racer should have pair of those in the ol' tool box.

we like to race with a well rounded tool box.

You can never have enough "specialty tools" in the old tool box!
That was one of the most fun packed weekends of racing I think I have ever had

yes i have fixed that problem and after 2 hard motos it has held up fine just need to add some gussets to the uder side, i could post some pics if anyone is interested it might save someone a missed race or ride. and it is rather simple to do just need a welder or know somebody
