Well after a local scramble race, on lap too I had no front brakes, the lever wasn't doing anything, so I finished the race with my rears and clutching. Should I be looking at pads first, or fluid/lines. I only have one more race to go before the winter teardown begins so I am hoping to slap new pads on it and finish the season. There is absolutely no stopping power from the front brakes whatsoever, you pull the lever and that is it nothing.

how is anyone supposed to help you without seeing your bike. you need to take a look at it yourself and see what it going on. If your brake pads are wore off, you need new pads. if you have no fluid try adding more, if it leaks you have a leak and need a new line if you have no pressure you need to bleed the lines

With sudden loss of breaking power and if there's no leaks i'm guessing it's time to rebuild the master cylinder.

Okay after working on it, you are probably correct in the master cylinder needing replacement or rebuilding, where would I be able to get a new unit or the kit within a few days before the next race on the following sunday?

www.servicehonda.com or a local honda dealer, or some atv shops can order you one.

If you need it in a few days you're going to have to call around to see who has it in stock.
