I bought a 300ex cable, but it wouldn't work:( There was way to much slack in the line. I heard about extended clutch cables from Motion Pro, but I checked RockyMountain and Motosport and can't find them! Anyone know where I can get one, I need it by this weekend!

Is there anything else supporting the bracket besides the one case bolt?

no sir, since there isnt really any up/down movement its sturdy as can be. its been working great for about 6 months and it hasnt gotten any harder to pull because it cant melt now :p

I'm going to do that for now... and later just make a bracket that goes over the existing bracket, so I'll be able to us all the bolt holes:)

im confused:confused: lol. would you still be using the old bracket? or would you be making a completely new one that bolts up like stock? right now i just have a couple of washers in the other hole and the bolt is back in.

Yes I'd still be using the old one... just covering it up a bit. Make a cover that will us all the bolt holes. Then just bolt it to the existing bracket along with the other bolt hole. I still dunno if that made any sense. lol

I'm prolly to blame for that. I think I told ya'll 300ex cables (thinking they were the same), but I looked it up at work and they are different part #'s. My bad...
