Electrics gone bad...

I needed to do some testing on "Project Black" for the website, so a group of us went riding and everything was going well until my girlfriends 400ex stopped starting. She was doing some donuts, turned the bike off, and that was it. After that she had no nuetral light or any other electrics. We pull started her and ended the day early.

I am just looking for some ideas on where to start troubleshooting. I can't imagine it is a battery, because it happened in the middle of the ride and it never sat or anything.

I posted this here because I know a lot of you guys had and are very familiar with 400ex's

If the neutral light doesn't come on, I would check down below the shifter and make sure that plug below it is on all the way. If this is off to where it is not connecting, it will cause this.

Yep check that and check the fuse too, make sure its not blown. There are two fuses in the box, one is actually connected and the other is a spare, make sure you check the right one.
