I just picked up my 450 and after I kick it. The kicker doesnt spring back to the plastics. It just stays in the spot like your getting ready to kick it again. Is it suppose to return to the plastics?

You're either missing the ball or the spring that goes in the kicker. Look it up on servicehonda.com and you will see what I'm talking about.

No it shouldn't spring back into the plastics.... why would it do that? It should return up, but not in. If you're kicking it and it stays down by the footpegs you have a problem, but if it springs back up, and not "IN" to the plastics that is how it is supposed to be.

400exrider707 is correct. It doesn't just automatically fold back into the plastic. Sometimes it will depending on how hard you kick it. Try taking it apart and greasing everything well, but be careful not to lose the small spring and ball bearing in it.
