I have a TCS rear shock with a remote rezzie and i put the rezzie near the voltage regulator but i realized that if it's there and I bottom out than the rezzy will hit the chain. Any ideas where I should put it?

How long is your line to the rezzie?

i just looked at my brothers and he has it mounted about where you do but a little to the left which is right where the chain would hit it. I'm stumped on this 1 too, i have seen people mount them on the front but the standard remote rezzie lines are not that long

I think if I put it just in front of the bottom muffler mount (towards the frame not the grab-bar) than it might work, but will it hit my swing arm?

if you really wanted it out of the way you could put it in the airbox by cutting a hole in the bottom then sealing around it.. however it wont get much air flow in there.

you can put it on the rails that go over the motor or put it in the front like I had mine.

lol i could already see you taking off plastics and mufflers and everything else just to get to the rezzie. get a longetr line and run it next to the 2 in the front.. that way you can adjust all three without difficulty... duh :p

I'm not doing that, I'm working with what I have and not buying any more crap that I have now. I'll try the motor rail thingy, see if i can get to it easily.

here is mine mounted on the frame by the engine. i had to notch my plastic out a little bit.

wouldnt mounting it bu the engine make the resevoir hot? the warmer your resevoir is the worse you shock performs

The shock heats up anyway, the colder the nitrogen gets the worse it performs I always thought.

idk i though it was the other way around

Friction generates heat, the oil inside of a shock will heat up and make the shock be smoother.

smoother but softer... right? and if i am and you try mx where you use your shock a lot youy will wish you didnt.

exactly. i always understood the only reason for having rezzies is to hold more fluid, therefore keeping it cooler. also, many people mount it in front to keep air flowing over it.. shocks are like brakes, they fade when they heat up.

yeah that was my point of mounting it above or really close to the motor that they would fade which is bad
