85 trike swinger

well i went to get that 86 trike swing arm for my 86 trx and it turned out to be off a 1985 trike.

so my question is will this 85 swinger off a trike work on my 86 trx??

yeah, but you need a different carrier, caliper bracket and stay for the rear brake

so i will just have to use all that stuff off the trike??

also my durablue axel should fit this set up off the trike as well???

No, the 85 axle is different from 86-up. A newer axle will not fit the older carrier.

contrary, yes, it will. I used one in a 85 carrier for some time w/o ill effects.
