i remember seeing i pic of inside someones airbox and they had somekind of "plug" made by nac's inside it. does anybody know what this is and how it works?

It's just a plug you put in when you take the snorkle off. I personally just used a paint can top.

are there any benifits to taking the snorkle off?

Only if you are running no lid. If yuou using the lid you have to keep the snorkle.

im running no lid, and a K&N, will i feel any gains? sorry for all the questions.

yeah i was actually thinking wouldnt the motor get more air leaving it on because its another source to be pulled in from but then in turn its hot air which isnt as good idk
