rear axle bearings

ok my rear bearings are shot , i mean completely gone haha so should i just get the stock ones again or another aftermarket brand?i'm using the stock carrier

Get the stock ones from servicehonda.com

If by some chance there is a bearing place in the vicinity of where you live, you can take the old ones and they will match them up. We did this on our 250Rs back in the day and paid $15 a bearing. Never had a problem with the $15 bearings.

My bearings are starting to go also, my axle has slop in it when its up on the jack :P

I bought a gibson carrier from east coast atv.

The stock carriers are almost 400bux, you can get aftermarket for 120-200.
Or you can replace the bearings in the stock one for a little less then 100bux if you just buy all the seals and bearings from honda/motosport.

Racegirlchik from EBay! She sells bearing and they are great. I have been using them without any problems. I will be buying a set for my 450r soon. Im still on stock ones but I always used her bearings in my 300ex. Its like $20 for the kit.

if you still have a warranty see if they will replace it for free. they normally dont do that, because they say if you didnt catch that they were wearing out, then you werent maintaining it. but when i went in to the dealership. they checked it out, and i needed a new carrier, axle, brake rotor hub, and of course the bearings, they called honda and got all of that warrantied, all in the same day too! that was cernics cycle. the same people who you see there graphics on all of the 450r racers.

Alright so the bearings on my buddys 450r are shot. We ordered some new ones off Ebay. Why do they come with 3 bearings? The kit also comes with 2 seals. When we took the bearings out of his carrier it only had two bearings in it? Where's the third go?

there stacked back to back on one side of the carrier , look in there and u should be able to see another

There are 2 bearings on the chain side.
