can and how if so do you adjust the rear stock shock on a 400ex
is it compression or rebound?

It is both compression and rebound Adjustable. If you look in your manual you will see it but on the top of the shock there is a small gold slot that a flat head screw driver will fit in. I can;t remember which is which but then there is also a small one just like the gold peice down on the linkage. You have to look at it. But that is where they are.

Somone else will know which is which.

thanks! that will help a bit but i saw u said that in the manual it will tell which is which and i was wondering if someone that has there manual could look to make sure. i dont have a manual and i would greatly apreasiate it it someone would verify which is which?
