I'm going to be buying my first quad in the near future, and I found a 2004 ltz 400 for $2200 and a 03 banshe for $3300 locally. I would rather have the ltz because its more trail capable, but it must have a lot of hours on it to go for $2200 being and 04? How many hours is a lot for a quad to have? It doesn't have any cracks in the frame or anything but I was kind of skeptical about the price being that low. The site is actionsportspolaris.com. Thanks

Do you know how many hours our dvx had on it when you bought it? I ride sled so I know how many miles is alot for those but I don't know about quads.

A Z400 shouldn't have an hour meter? Any number they may give you in this respect is going to be totally speculative.

Check the bearings, frame, plastics, etc. thats the best tell tale. Ask about service and such.
