here are some pics of the MACH 1 gusset kit installed on the new style DRX frame , this is a pic of bike with gussets placed in order to keep the battery box. 18 pieces including pro peg nerf mount.
we recommend sand blasting frame first , and then weld all factory unfinished joints ( there are several). We do not think you have to add 10 lbs of gussets to your frame just strtegically place the extra support where needed. we also reinforce all shock and engine mounts. here are some ideas for you first timers that are going to tackle this project this winter , for those of you who do not own a sandblaster and a welder and a powder coating oven this service can be provided by most race shops.. There are 3 kinds of DRR mini quad owners
1 - those who have broken a frame
2 - those who have gusseted a frame
3 - those who will be doing both very soon

Thanks for the input(added to my list) , ive not broke a gas tank mount YET. Now it is a 19 piece kit ! Did you notice the chain relief gusset for extreme travel , we learned that the hard way.

Yes, Thats a great idea.

I also see you did the most forgotten brace on the rear motor mount most people forget that brace and it also ruins your day.

you got that right ,we not only braced the rear motor mount ,we also run a double bead of weld around the whole mount .

I found your website, looks good! I have a few questions:
#1-I have a 2007 DRX2 70 Water Cooled with AC Racing nerf bars welded on. Would this gusset kit work for me?
#2-Would the chain guide slide work for my model?
#3-What application is the hi-rev race fan for?
Thanks!

the gusset kit and chain guide slide are perfect for your model. the Hi -rev fan is for air-cooled models only , no need on your water-cooled model.
