Check your valves......Sounds like they could be out of tolerance. Make sure you change your air filter as often as needed.

I have also heard that maybe a low battery will make it act that way.

ya thats what i would guess

the other day with my '06 i went out, turned the key on, pulled in the clutch and pressed the start button and nothing happened ? didnt even try to roll over or nothing. i ripped it all apart, checked the fuses, igniton line, battery, everything. has this ever happened to anyone before ? is there something i missed to check ?

thanks,

if it starts while bump starting and not by the button i would say that your battry is to weak to crank the motor fast enough to start. also try starting in neautral maybe your clutch is dragging a bit.

if i hooked it up to a car battery to crank it, would it hurt it?

My buddies did this exact thing and it ended up needing a new cylinder and valves. You could try jumping it from a car, I've done with no ill effects.....

Your intake valves are toast.

KEEP THAT FILTER Clean, and it should eliminate the problem, after you put fresh valves in.

how much would a full valve job cost?

well, not a full valve job, just then intake valves. i just remembered that their is a little tear in the plug wire, i electrical taped it up, could that also be the problem?

Check the 4 wire connecter at the ignition switch. Various people have found random occuring problems with this connection. if it is found to be the problem cut out the connector and hard wire the switch it to the harness.

if u r talkin about the key switch, there is only 3 wires.
