Im looking into getting asv levers and was wondering what a hot start is? I was also wondering, what I would do for a choke if i removed my light switches and stuff cause the choke is connected to all that stuff?

hot start is for any bike or quad with a kickstart, its a compression release that makes it really easy to kick over. you will not need this for a z400 obviously.

as for the choke, you can buy a carb mounted choke on ebay for pretty cheap. it goes on really easy and is better i think, not constantly getting stuck like on the bars.

you can use the hot start as the reverse knob. but you really don't need it. get a rm kill switch for the starter and a pull choke from advantage cycle. and you can clean up the bars.
