View Full Version : Making power from a 300 with stock exhaust.

Would i eve notice anything if i throw a 11:1 pistion and a cam in my 300ex. Other options?

Sure you'd see a bottom end increase. Small top end increase, due to the exhaust restriction.

Had an HMF. I would rather ride quietly than not ride at all:ermm:

you can add the 400ex carb... with the cam and piston, would be sweet. also take off the muffler cap and drill 5-6 1/4" holes in the baffle plate to relieve some backpressure. put cap back on, small holes are the key to keep it quiet.

I have a 330 sleeve I would sell ya for cheap which would give you some good power!:D
