Anyone been to Pismo Beach?

I heard running your quad in the sand beaches you would have to clean your quad within a day so none of the sea salt will damage the quad? Could someone please give me tips on how to clean my quad and what things I should have prepared before and after going to Pismo Beach. I plan on going in a few weeks time. Any help would be appreciated.

Hey, I go all the time, stay for about a week at a time, i wash my quad when i get home, no rust ever on my bike. I dont think you have to wash right away, just dont go riding in the water. The beach isnt that wet either, its always tore up tho so prepare for that! take lots of asprin!! lol

if you are worried about rust spray your hole bike with wd-40 before you go. then its easy to wash and it wont rust.
