250r way too louddddd

I got a 86 trx250r with a fmf exhaust...I love a loud 2 stroke but this is ridiculously loud and I dont know why. I have a 2000 cr250 with a stock exhaust and she screams but this thing is making me mental...It sounds so tinny too like im in a tin can..Any suggestions? Can I keep the mid and throw something else on the end? I just want it to sound stock or lower without losing anything...Any other exhaust suggestions?

FMF'S are loud anyways, but if you hear a ping noise alot, i think that means ur runnin to lean... not 100% but i believe im right, also try repacking your silencer. if your interested ive got a full ftz exhaust, make an offer if interested.

i dont have any idea what dude was talking about pinging and being lean...

sounds to me like your silencer needs to be repacked... thats it... but its still gunna be louder than stock..
