Tire size, I think most are running 20" up front and 18" rears. Tire wise get razrs. They last long and give great traction and the right amount of slide.

Yep, most people run the 18" rear, 20" front setup...but some like to run 19" rears with 20" fronts, and some like to run 19" fronts with the 18" rears.

Tire type? As FoxHondaRider said...go with Razr MX's. They are a great tire, with great handling characteristics..but also very good on durability. Maxxis does make other MX tires, mainly for more hardpack stuff...but I can't vouch for those personally, as I've never rode them. I have no doubt they are a great tire, but I just don't know the characteristics of them.
