im 41 and ran my first xc race. came in 19th out of 38.not bad considering a poor start and sitting for 10 minutes after a nasty leg cramp and fighting finger and thumb cramps also.2 hours steady fast is really tough to do.it was kiiling me to watch my group pass me after i passed some of them them earlier.i was probably in last after the cramp and had to fight back my position. getting in shape is a must to be top 10 or better. it was really fun though!! thanks neil for one bad ***** motor that rocked in the woods!!!

no problem there. the r wasnt the weak point...it was my body!!!lol it had more power than i needed in the race .my arms felt like they weighed 100 lbs. each at the end ! the guys in the crowd kinda dug it in the areas where the crowds were. i showed off a bit with wheelies through these sections ;) it was a good time. yes....im hooked already:macho

thanks guys....i do run a stabilizer(my wrist has been saved three times with it),works shocks, and an anti-vibe stem. yes... the flexx bars will be on in the spring for sure along with a revalve or other front shocks. do those bars really help that much? thanks again :D

i think they are great, i dont cramp up anymore. Plus, they help me racing poles and barrels, doin high speed braking under pressure. tons more control now.
