I am getting ready to re-do my head. Its time for some new valves and spring. I was just wondering what everyone thinks is the better deal... to go ahead and spend the money on kibblewhite valves and springs which is around a total of $320. Or should i just go with stock again which would end up costing about $180. thanks

You don't want to use stock vavles, they are junk. I used KW valves and everything else stock. I think if you have an 06 and up you can't use the stock springs with the KW valves, but on 04/05 you can.

Get new valves, seal,springs.(stc.) if ur not running alot of HP and dont have any issues with the stock valves. stay stock, honda makes good valves.

also you will need a Cut to the valve seata, i would send it out to a well known company with a serdi cutter or a shop your really trusted in.

Do some research.

Honda stock TRX450R CRF250R and CRF450R valves are junk.

i should have been more specific, honda ATV valves are good.

my cuzin has his 05 450r and still runs the stock valves.

i still have my stock titanium intake valves and stock exhaust valves. which are suppose to wear faster.

but i do agree the dirtbike 450 valves suck... but than again they put out more HP than the quads. they cup quickly, and need 20 hour adjustment compared to the 100 hour adjustment time on the quads..

make sure u do ur h.w. :D

aint nothing wrong with Stock valves... I had KW valves that ate poop really quick.. not I just have some custom cut OEM valves.. replace them more often with stockers... works for me...

but then again my build is only 38 hp.
