what is the stock sprockets? front and rear? Someone told me to change the front sprocket to 14t for dune riding. good idea? what about the rear one keep stock or what? thanks. I'm also installing the sparks bolt on kit that includes the advance key(I think bottom end power) if that makes a difference in what size to get.

I'm not sure what the rear one is but I changed to a 14th front and it was light night and day. I don't ride in the dunes but I race mx and it helped alot.

i beleive stock spokets are 15/38 or something like that,i wouldnt think that changing it to 14 would be good for dunes it would increase botton end and decrease top end but for mx and trail riding changing front to 14 would help alot.

I spend as much time as posible at the dunes, and a 14t is the way to go.

I would reccomend getting the 14t. You can get them for like $8 at rockymountainatv so I would go ahead and try it and if you don't like it, you're not out that much.

I ordered one and can't wait to put it on and see what kind of difference it makes.

I like to run 16-37 when I ride the ditches around ND but, I run 14-37 on tight trails and in the snow. I never change the rear sprocket and I use the 15 ervery once and a while but not much.
stock is 15-38.

I'VE BEEN RUNNING A 14T FOR ABOUT A YEAR NOW AND LOVE IT IN THE WOODS, BUT IN OPEN FIELDS I SEEM TO HAVE LOST A BUNCH OF TOP SPEED. GEARING CALCULATORS SAY I SHOULD LOSE 4MPH, BUT I GOT PASSED BY A PIPED 300EX W/ STOCK GEARING. ANYONE HAVING THIS TROUBLE?:huh :(
