ok... so i just bought a used 2006 450r for a practice bike and it is all stock... but when i'm ridding it... when i hit the gas really fast it falls on its face a little and if i'm just at idle if i hit it it will fall on its face completly... i live in northern mississippi where the humidity is pretty high? do ya'll think i need to go up a jet or down a jet??

i would try going down acouple sizes, and cleaning the carb, and make sure that the accelarator pump is pumping good.

boysen makes a "quick shot" that eliminates the bog (100$)

or you can go buy a 55 leak jet for (5$)

the hrc kits for the 06 and up come with the leak jet to solve the lean condition that happens when you "stab" the throttle under low rpm

the lean condition caused by the quick throttle punch causes a hesitation until the fuel can catch up, the leak jet is a small jet in the bowl, it lets fuel bleed back to the bowl, by reducing the leak back you increase the fuel shot when you stab the throttle

if you do a search you will prob find more info than I can give you

you may also want to check your tps
