I need a complete motor asap, ive checked on ebay and other forums just cant find anything much, ethier a 250r motor or hybrid, send me some pms with what you have please... gotta get my bike running again..

i also have one, good running condition before i pulled it out of the bike for a 330 motor. believe it has a long rod kit with spacer plate, full port job and all, pulls hard. pm me if interested.

hey guys, thanks for all the replys, i just ordered everything to build a 265pv. how much horsepower should it have? 265pv,38 air striker,msd ignition,v force3 reeds,woods port job.... whatcha guys think?

are you racing motocross??? just wondering why you didnt go with the 310 pro-X kit. anyways you should be happy with it, just dont expect to hang with any of the big bore guys.

i race alot of woods, and mx. but ive heard from several people that 310 and 330 are not very reiable. i just wanted to get a little more power and still be able to run at least half a season without tearin it down. ya know

that is odd, the pro-x kits have been proven to be one of the most reliable upgrades available for the 250r, i have had mine for years without a single problem and actually has lasted longer than the stock setup probably from the extra cooling capacity of the cylinder and head. before you pay for the powervalve kit i would call ct, duncan, or whoever is doing the work and discuss the 310 option with them, i think you would be much more satisfied. and unless you have a dune or rev pipe the power band hit is not very bad at all contrary to what you may think.

yeah thats what i need to do, but i am running a FTZ high rev pipe, but im gonna call them tomorrow and get some info on a 310.

well i am running a 330 motor with a ct whale pipe and the power band isnt too noticeable to me cause i have been riding 2 strokes all my life, but when my buddies who ride 4 strokes get on that baby i love to see the fear in their eyes when they bring it back to me lol :)

heck yeh, sounds like u got a bad ride. hopefully, i can get mine going again, i still need stuff like rear beadlocks, axle,etc. if you or anybody else has anything like that. lemme know kinda pressed for cash so cheaper is better haha

i dont have an axle or beadlocks but i have a few other things lying around, think i might still have some nerf bars, some factory wheels(aluminum color) pipe, silencer, carb, air box, radiator, rear master cylinder, and more, let me know what else you need and i will see if i have it.

yeah i got one, just not required to wear one at la dunes, crashed many times and smacked my head on the ground, you would be suprised how cushioning sand is

i wish i had the cash 2 get a 330 for mine, How much h.p do you think my 265pv should have, just got my vforce 3 reeds in today, i can't wait 2 see what i got.

not sure but i figured the 310 kit would be very comparable to a powervalve motor, i think you can get one from esr forlike 700 bucks
