What class would I most likely be racing in with an 05' 400ex with the mods in my signature plus a front end this winter..

Would the class I'd race in change once I went to a built 416 engine? With a port job, piston, and bore kit?

you race whatever class you want to race. C, B, A. I would assume C since this would be your first time racing? You dont move to another class untill you want faster and alot better competition!

Oh okay I see..

But what I kinda meant like what do the different districts mean? Like my brother on a 03 z440 race D-6 MX.

different districts is just where you live. I live in VA, and the main district is 13 for VA. MD, DE, WV is 7 etc...

your bike and whats on your bike has nothing to do with what class you will run.

I have an 02 440ex, and I race C and B dependong on whos at the track...

Basiclly, if youve never rced or your just starting out on a track, then you need to enter C class and just be careful...watchout for the goons on the gate too.;)

Good luck

The classes vary in every District. In District 15 (Indiana) there are only A, B, and Mini classes. It doesn't matter what you ride here, as long as it is above 90cc. You just ride whatever class fits your ability.

Only A and B? Why? I even heard of D class once.

District 15 mx is very bike dominated, like I'm sure a lot of areas are. There are usually not enough quads showing up at races to run a C class. It works fine having only two classes though. You never know what to expect in the B class. It could be someone thats really good, or someone that will be lapped.
