hi, i need some help. im going to buy a quad this december and i dont know what to get, the price isnt an issue. the type or riding im going to do is trail and just messin around in the yard. i know that the 400ex is getting old and there are all new quads but i still like the looks of the ex. this will be my first quad and i want to to be a good one.

you could get the 400ex or the z400. the main difference is the z400 has reverse and the 400ex doesnt. Also the z400 might have a little more power. I have a 400ex and love it. I would try to test ride the quads you are looking into and see which one you like best. Thats just my opinion.

o ya also the z400 is liquid cooled and the 400ex is air cooled.

how old are you and how much do you weigh? a 400ex or z400 are both good for trails, even warriors are fun to mess around on.

Yea banshee's are very fun and fast to ride and have a ton of horsepower. I have never ridin a canondale but i think they are great.

well, if reverse is a must, then i'd get a Z400. but if you don't really care... get a 400EX, awesome low end power for trails. like chauncy said, ride the 2 and go from there

if price didn't matter I would say go out and spend 12,000 dollars on a new cannondale Blaze. but I would go with the z-400 or the kfx-400. if its just messing around and doing alittle bit of everything the warrior is a good choice.

well if ur doing trail riding and stuff in the yard, and u want an Ex, and, u want reverse, get a 300, but if u don't care about reverse, (which i think is a big plus) get a 400ex. buts it's all up to!

I think your best bet would be a cannibal honestly, i've heard a ton of good things about them: good service, pretty reliable, made in america, and don't forget fast.

He said it will be his first quad. I think a cannondale might be a little overkill for your first quad. Plus it has a lot of maintanence and you need to know how to do all that first. But go with what you want.

yeah I know he said it was his first quad, I don't hardly see a cannibal as being much more overkill than a 400ex and he said price wasn't a issue and even so if he wants to mod it for racing a cannbile might be cheaper in the long run anyways.

Go for z-400 or cannondale cannibal if money aint prob's, if not go with 400ex
