yes 2 of us so far from pittsburgh to ride on the 27th, we have 3 more from west mi meeting us there. I hope its not very cold or i will need to wear my ski wear. :D

Ya we are hoping for good weather too and not to cold! What will you be riding? I think there will be about 6 or 7 of us going. You can spot us though cuz my buddy rides a cannondale with black plastic so he will prolly be the only c-dale there.

2003 400ex red, 2002 400ex yellow, 2003 250ex red, 2001 250ex yellow and a blaster (dont know what year or color havent seen it yet) we will have two open trailers one 3 place and one 2 place, a 1988 black f150 and a 2004 blue 1500 w/cap.

Great, I like it this late in the season cuz people that know how to ride are there. You never here of anyone getting life flighted out. Its way safer with out the wingnuts.

Awesome the more the better! Ya both weekends I went up during the summer there was an accident both times!

yeah i took out 5 ribs last season but got up and brushed myself off before i had to fill out an accident report and have them take me out in the truck. I did end up spending the night in the hospital in Grand Rapids MI. that was Aug. 13th 2006, then mermorial day in 2005 my ex step son ended up in the hospital for a week. quad and truck head on. truck won. :(

Thats too bad. My buddy about 5 years ago was on a cr500 and was going down where they have drags and he came up over that hill and there was a banshee that went across then did a u-turn and went back. My buddy let off but when he saw him go back he got back on it and the guy did another u-turn and he t-boned him. He ended up with a broken leg and the other guy was worse off. We took him to the hospital in ludington where he got it put in a cast. Bad deal. See you all there.:blah:

check it out there is going to be in the 40's and rain on Sunday. Snow on sunday night. but just wait it is hard to predict michigan weather. Long Johns are packed in the gear bag..:D

we camped out a couple years ago and woke up in the morning with about a inch of snow... thats pretty sweet on the dunes till it all melts off

I know what ya mean. I have gone the first weekend of April and rode on frozen sand. I have a house less than 1.5 hours from there so I don't have to worry about brushing the snow off my tent. The house is for sale cuz I live in Pittsburg now. Um I should rent it out to people with quads going to the dunes. I have to do something with it. Houses in West MI are just not moving. Its 20 acres of woods with quad trails, 50 x 30 heated work shop and 5 bedroom 3 full baths. Want to rent it?

Went out there on the 13th/14th...absolutely perfect weather. 65 and sunny...:D

If I get my issues resolved with the 440ex, I'll report back here. Have fun!

my buddy built a cabin up there now not even 3 miles from the park entrace, right around the corner from the state campground so we stay there now days

Yup were still going but alot of guys backed out so there will only be 3 of us now :( Oh well hope the weather holds off :)
