Anybody know if the 330 kits require cases to be modded?I would prefer a kit that wouldnt require it as i dont feel like splitting cases.I may just opt for a 76mm kit to save all the hassle if i have to.Im pumping up my play bike a bit;)

THe answer is yes/no. LOL

The 330 w/ the big-bore sleeve is marginal. Wether you have to modify the case all depends on how the metal lines/mates up at the top of the case where the sleeve slides through.

Some molds have plenty of clearance, some molds require some slight clearancing. Mine required none. However, if you did have to clearance it, it's not that big of a deal. Just have to shave off a small amount where the cases mate so you have enough clearance w/ thermal expansion.

Easily done yourself without splitting the cases and some basic tools and care not to get shavings inside the case.

You won't really know until you go to slide on the 330 cylinder.

Most of the time it won't be an issue.

Hope this helps.

four stroke tech offers a 330 and a 380/390
powroll sells a bunch of kits,
curtis sparks sells a 345 kit
im sure gt thunder offers something
as does profab atv

and a bunch of others

what do you mean by biggest piston? if you mean compresssion wise, 11:1 is the biggest you should run on pump gas.

good choice, i just sent him payment for a 330 kit today

basically it can all be dont by ypurself, except you will have to have someone put the new sleeve into your jug, most machine shops can do it, all it requires is a press, some people try to do it them selfves by heating the jug and trying to extract the cylinder that way, but it can be a pain in the ***

also as a heads up, fst charges 8 dollars for shipping

i know what your saying,

but personally, i like my quad better than anything out, and i take pride in my quad, and when it comes to the guys on the 450's, it really doesnt matter cuse i keep up with them no problem on the trails

but i know what ya mean some people tend to overlook you because your on a smaller bore quad, but you just have to forget about them and enjoy the sport,
