venison....deer. we process our own meat, instead of taking it in to a butcher or something. we do everything. hunt, kill, gut, skin, process, package, eat. it might not look too appealing in the picture right there, but it sure does taste good. (cooked of course)

Its deffinatly fall at my house. I'm feeling another October winter storm. Last year at this time mother nature dumped about 6ft on us. Gotta Love the lake effect snow.

Yep it finally felt a little bit like fall today. It actually was a little tough getting loaded up for the GNCC in OH this weekend with the early duck season opening up on Saturday. This will be my last major race of the year and from here on out, its open season on ducks, geese, and sika deer. The freezer is empty and I'm not gonna waste any time filling it.:D

Yup, it was also 90 something here a couple days ago, today its in the 40's windy and raining....I think its a cold front from the west, i hear in Colorado they got 6 inches up in the mountains :eek2:

Its been MANY years since Ive had the GOOD kind of Jerkyand pepperoni sticks . :ermm:

I like Elk OK, but not a deer meat eater. ITs too gamey tasting for my liking .

Alot of people say that about deer meat. I love it but I have also had some not so tasty deer. There are alot more people in this world that can shoot a deer than can prepare it correctly.
