How often are u getting it?

Most people have had it happen a few times I'd say.
Not something that should be happening a lot though.

Could be as simple as sloppy shifting or clutch cable adjusted bad.
If its really bad it might be a bent shift fork or something worn.

Ya thats more common then what hes talking about.
Normally caused from not pulling up on the shifter enough/smooth enough for the 1st shift. Going from 1st to 2nd the lever has to move like twice as far then when shifting though the higher gears.
People think they have tranny problems from it, but most of the times its they just need to get there fat foot off the peg a little more :P

Mine has like 500 hours and it shifts perfect. You shouldnt have to slam anything.

be careful because eventually your third and frouth gear are going to let go, especially 3rd i had to replace my 3rd and 4th. it wasnt that parts that cost a lot it was the time to change em. id get em changed b4 it lets go coming of the face of a jump!

Yes You are right. Fresh tranny fluid helps mine. it only really does it if I dont make a solid shift from 2nd to 3rd. like getting lazy. Sounds like a common problem in My D23. Oh well
