the carb came with a cable but it will not work at all on my 400. the end at the thumb housing is nothing like the one that came off of it. could the new cable not be right? there is an aftermarket cover on my thumb throttle but i'm not sure if the whole device is not stock. The new cable does not have the threaded piece on the end and the end that goes into the carb is not long enough to reach to the hook up.
if i order another 450r stock throttle cable would it more than likely work?
