400EX Air Boot???

What exactly do I have to do, step by step, to do this mod? I know change the air boot, but what about the little stuff like trimming and fitting? Also, there is a small hole on the side of 400ex air boots, what do I do with this?

pull your stock boot off and stand it next to the 400ex boot and your going to see how much you have to shorten it , that is if you want to hook it up to your box. be sure to leave enough room to be able to clamp it on securely . you dont want to take to much from the small end as it will rub hard against the upper shock mount . as for the hole ,use it , put your hose fitting in it with a clamp. http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f9/cataway/3-28-2007LS268.jpg
